Well from what I have read the sources for hedghog names are varied, some people choose to call them after wild plants others choose cartoon or video games characters, and others choose names based on people they know. while some wait until they see a distinctive character trait their hedgie has and name them after that.

So join up and let us know how you got your hedgies name.

Well must answer my own question. Very Happy Ruby got her name because she is a red eyed cinnicot and has lovely ruby red eyes
